Citta Bianca / White City

In the old age, the city of Ostuni in Puglia was an area prone to malaria, a sickness that reflected the poverty of the south. To prevent this, every architectural structure, from the church to the trulli house, was done in the material of white limestone, which according to my friend Gian, prevented this sickness. Today, it presents itself victoriously like a pearly white kingdom overlooking the sea, attracting people from all over the world to observe its peculiar architecture. Which only proves that misfortune can be fortunate, and must be welcomed on occasion as a catalyst for greatness.
